Things To Get Off My Chest

I don't know what it is, I guess I just wanted to get this off my chest. 

Things haven't been great lately, well at least for me. I mean there has

been a lot going on lately, but me I don't know. Like I've realized that

Really, there are only like five people that I'm open with. They know who 

they are. But aside from realizing my circle is smaller then the social status

of a loner. I think I've sunk to the back of the pack, like I have to made myself

known for people to acknowledge me. People reading this are like "What are

you talking about." I'll give you the perfect example, I'll be walking with friends

and we'll see someone we know, and usually it's females, we aren't big on the whole

what up dude thing. But guess who usually has to be like "Hey!" usually with all the 

hand gestures and all. I mean someone the other day I didn't know was like "You're

not cool." Like, I don't care, but I didn't even know the person, (It was a female.)

But like damn, "Where's the love for Malcolm?" No invite to a sweet sixteen that 

my closest homies got invited too. I guess I'm feeling insecure or something, or 

something ain't right, just me thinking a loud I'm literally thinking of what I think

I want to say next. You know what? Fuck it! Let the beard grow, same with the hair,

and if they acknowledge a brother then sincerely fuck it. I mean if this sound like I'm 

bitching or what ever, I don't care. I guess I've become accustom with writing what I 

feel. And the funny part is this is just off some feeling like females aren't on ya. I mean

for a minute I felt like Zach Morris, but I guess as quick as they hot on you, they get real 

cold. But you know what? MHS Recording Club is coming up, so I can truly submerge 

myself into something that will satisfy myself, mentally  that is. Music is the only thing

that makes me happy sometimes. Family ain't like the Huxtables so I have problems with

them that have a brother like, "I'm paying for therapy later." So at the end of the day if

the ladies at feeling me, I go to the music. My true love

Summer Summer Summer Time (Part One)

Okay I'm teary eyed writing this

I am up to my last hours on summer vacation with my family in Chicago

Today was chill

I mean I lounged today

Nothing was really planned until later

Sebastian's mom

Offered to take Sydney, Sebastian, and I out to eat

I was really glad to spend some time with my brother and sister before I go as a matter of fact

When we got back we laughed and played

The Brain is trying for bigger and better things

Smurfs, Space Tigers, Say What!?!?!

Today I didn't do much

I still don't feel comfortable with Chicago Public Transportation

I mean with at least with trying to be on time

So that eliminated those plans

But to brighten up my mood later on in the day

Right after I give Sydney her bike to play

At about 3:00 pm

The doorbell rings

My ears pick up quickly

The tv is on but I don't hear it

All I hear at the door is

"FedEx"

I run to the door so fast

That Uncle Rodney couldn't even get the door

And he was upstairs

I shuffle with my keys open the door

I was like 

"Thanks, man I've been waiting on these kicks, thanks man."

The FedEx dude didn't even really respond, he was just like "Yeah"

I signed and ran into the house

I grabbed my keys and shredded the tape

Opened the shoe boxes and smelled the shoes

Then I ran downstairs

Lazy Thursday

Basically I lounged today

I was trying to head out with my Auntie Angie

But I was broke and stuck at home

So I'm trying to figure out how to get out to them

We are supposed to go to the water park tomorrow

Also my kicks come in tomorrow

I just checked my tracking number

They actually arrived at the Fed Ex location today

So tomorrow morning

While watching team USA doo-doo on Lithuania 

And trying to formulate a plan to get out there

I'll be expecting my doorbell to ring

What You've Missed

I just really had the time I wanted to put into the blog lately

The other day I went bowling with my uncle

Well that was Monday

Wesley, his friend Darrel, my auntie J. Ash, and a list of others went bowling

It seems as though I should bowl more

I'm actually not bad

Funny part about that is that Wesley said I'd never beat him in ANYTHING

With that he also said as long as we were living

Guess what?

I beat him that night

Yeah he was practicing on his curve and trying some things

But I won point blank period

All in all a really fun night in was great to hang with the fam and friends

Yesterday I went hooping with Geno at the church

He also brought Halo over and we've been playing ever since

I even played co-op with my dad

Then we watched Wanted, he had the Screening Edition Bootleg

The movie was actually dope

It had dope visuals that was really intense and a great plot twist

If you haven't seen it I actually recommend it

Now unto our Love on Wax situation 

I'm actually going to write the next scene after this

I've got some surprises for you devout readers

I just got the shipping number for my kicks

They should be here by tomorrow or Friday

I can't wait then I go school shopping the following Monday

Then leave BACK to Jersey that Wednesday

Right now Geno has came back for more Halo

It's weird that my summer vacation is ending so soon

Jubilant and Miserable (At the same time)

Today was good and bad

I awoke early to a laughing and playing two some of joy

Sebastian and Sydney on the loose

They awoke before me not that great for me 

Amazing for them

Dad cooked them breakfast

Potatoes, eggs, and sausage

I had my favorite buttermilk pancakes

We got them ready for church

Now here comes the funny part (Well at least for you guys)

Sebastian usually falls asleep quite nicely in church

Today was like no other

Heck even Sydney did the ole' napperoo

But as the service is coming to a close 

Sebastian awakes a little bit

And just pees all over himself

Remind you he is in my lap

It gets all over my cargo shorts

We have to leave to change him

We actually made good timing because his mom was on her way

But that made the day for me

I fixed Sydney lunch

Talked on the phone with my mom

Shout outs to my favorite woman, Ms. Didn't I just buy that the other day? How'd you eat that this fast Malcolm? did you save me any?

She just got back from Jamaica

I just realized its only 10 more days till I'm back to Montclair

It needs more then 5 minutes to formulate the whole scene

I write without much brainstorming or revision

Because I'm that good

But I'm trying to improve my writing skills

Hence the actual small screenplay

Hopefully by the time I get to 5th draft of it 

It would be presentable to an actual producer

REALLY GREAT

Ever take your brother and sister to the park

And just watch them play

Today was pretty chill

Sebastian napped his socks off today

Sydney maintained a pretty chill mode today as well

Aside from her sneaking junk food while 

I'm trying to imply this healthy foods instead of junk foods

You know the normal big brother stuff

After Sebastian's nap we went to the park

Sydney on her bike

Just removed from her training wheels

Sebastian on his tricycle which he is oddly attached to

It's actually weird because Sebastian is attached to things and if you try to take it away

In comes the water works

Or basically if he doesn't get his way

He's two so I give him a break... for now

The park was good

Two and a half hours of them running around

Sebastian and I playing catch

Sydney mastering her bike

Me enjoying them having fun

Today has worked well

I got some spare time

The lil ones are tired out from playing and running around

ALL DAY

Aside from Sebastian taking a GOOD two hour nap (in my arms, he likes to fall asleep on someone)

The crew was up and around

Geno came by we played Madden 08, 09 comes out in a couple months for you video gamers

But All that happened with Geno will be overshadowed by what he said today

The conversation went like this

"Gucci Mane and Shawty Lo cold"

Me replying in disgust

"You're kidding, you're kidding right, their flows are so elementary, Lupe is so much better."

Geno coming out his mouth for the say of the day

"Lupe is not better then Gucci or Shawty."

And that my friend started my day weird

I damn near kicked him out my house

Haven't Been Personal in a While

Alright I haven't been candid about my personal life as of late

I mean my personal best friends haven't been around 

I got Sydney AND Sebastian back

Now I'm at truly happy

Got Syd aka Suga Bear

And Bassy aka Bassy Boy

Yesterday I helped Sydney take off her training wheels

She was riding around and I took her to the park

After that we came home and I helped her with her school work

She has packets to complete before school starts

So I'm Mr. Tutor... again
Helping Syd out is something I do that doesn't feel like I'm obligated as a brother

But as something I do, to give her opportunities I wouldn't have

As for Sebastian

He's two

But that guy can already, run, catch, jump

Yet truthfully the most important thing I'm teaching him is to count

He will repeat just about anything you could say

So as he runs up and down the stairs (his favorite thing to do to tire whoever is watching him)

I count the stairs aloud and by now he knows the drill

He's going up and down the stairs

All you hear is 

"One, two, three, four, ..."

He can count to thirteen

I'm proud we can do better and we will

I have 13 (counting today) days left in Chicago

I'm making the most of it as a friend told me

Going bowling with Wesley next monday

If yall didn't know Wesley is my uncle (mom's brother)

He's the reason I cop SB's 

He's like my big brother role model

Both my uncle's

Wesley and Jamal

So blame him for my addiction

Scary thing is I look just like him

Had my favorite meal tonight

Oxtails with rice
